weiter.digital: Start of the final test phase

The research and development project "weiter.digital" develops and tests digital learning tools for workplace-integrated professional development in small and medium-sized enterprises (in Saxony). Following a more than two-year, iterative conception and implementation phase, the project culminated in the virtual networking conference "Digitally Supported Education in the Context of an Innovative Working World" on November 24, 2021. final testing phase the learning tools developed in the project.
Are your employees also increasingly working – planned or forced – in home office and are your managers facing new challenges? Would you like to support your employees in meeting the requirements media literacy to expand? Is the regular fire safety training in your company? Are you working in the real estate industry and would like to train your specialists in the current Innovations in the Condominium Act (WEG)? Then we have the right thing for you!

For interested users from all sectors, we have created a dedicated subpage on our project homepage. There, we provide an overview of the digital learning tools developed within the project and warmly invite you to try them out yourself. All completed learning units – covering topics such as "Data Protection in the Home Office," "Fire Safety," "First Aid," "Real Estate Law," and "Media Literacy" – are available online, and we will be adding further digital learning units gradually in the coming weeks. We are making these learning materials freely available to all interested parties as Open Educational Resources (OER) for sustainable reuse. They may be used under the license "„Creative Commons Attribution and Share Alike 4.0“ (CC BY-SA 4.0) may be used freely.

In order to test the project results for their practical suitability and to be able to further develop them in line with the requirements of employees in small to medium-sized companies, the feedback of future users is important! For this purpose, we have a short onlinepreliminary survey and -follow-up survey prepared. If you have tested one or more of our learning tools, we would be very pleased if you would take part in the survey and give us your feedback.
