A journey through time through Dresden <\/span>Visitor:<\/span>en<\/span> since 16 April in <\/span>COSMO Science<\/span>enschaftsforum in Dresden<\/span> There, for the first time, the Center <\/span>for<\/span> Open Digital Innovation <\/span>and<\/span> Participation<\/span> (CODIP) <\/span>the Technis<\/span>Online research tool developed by the University of Dresden 4D Browser<\/a> presented to the public via a touch screen. <\/span><\/p>\n

Until now, the tool, which has been jointly developed at the TU Dresden and the University of W\u00fcrzburg since 2016, was only available in a desktop version. For the exhibition <\/span>"<\/span>Futures<\/span> \u201cShaping together: Visionary realities\u201d<\/span> of DST<\/a> (Departments <\/span>Speculative<\/span> Transformation) <\/span>It was developed in cooperation with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena <\/span>for a touch screen<\/span>n application. The tool<\/span> enables the <\/span>Visitors,<\/span> to move through a digital 3D model of the city of Dresden using finger movements and discover historical photographs. These are located in the urban space in which the <\/span>Photographers<\/span> With time as the fourth dimension, immersion in the history of Dresden<\/span>s<\/span> possible.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition shows <\/span>also further <\/span>Prototypes and applications from various Dresden research institutions on the topic of \u201c<\/span>Futures<\/span> It examines how science and research address the challenges of the future and what new and creative solutions they find \u2013 be it for climate change, the city of the future or questions relating to mobility and the world of work.<\/span><\/p>\n
