Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer presented the &quot;AI Strategy for the Free State of Saxony&quot; at the event and discussed with representatives from education and science, among others. Prof. Dr. Thomas K\u00f6hler was involved as a discussion partner in the panel &quot;AI knowledge in schools, training and further education&quot;. He emphasized his perspective of seeing AI as &quot;tools to support action in all possible educational situations&quot;. Two projects were presented as examples at the congress: UndiMeS and Tech4Comp.<\/p>\n<p>In \u201cUndiMeS \u2013 Teaching with digital media in Saxony\u201d, an innovative qualification offer is being developed that addresses the competencies of teachers in the area of using and deploying digital infrastructures in teaching.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the project context focuses on strengthening and developing media education skills, both of which are a basis for the use of technologies such as the Workbench developed in Tech4Comp, a mentoring support tool.
