The Media Education without Borders project was successfully completed. In connection with its evaluation of the project, a positive assessment was made by the National Agency, which is responsible for allocating funding and monitoring its use.<\/p>\n
During the project period, employees of the TU Dresden, in cooperation with partners in Germany, Hungary, Spain and Ireland, developed a multimedia learning module, which is offered in four different languages (English, German, Spanish and Hungarian) and is aimed at teachers and people in the field of youth work as a further training opportunity in the field of media literacy promotion.<\/p>\n
The link to the online course \u201cTeaching Media \u2013 Skills for Teachers and Youth Workers\u201d can be found here.<\/a> You will also find the English<\/a>, Spanish<\/a> and Hungarian<\/a> version of the course.<\/p>\n Motivated by the growing importance of imparting media literacy, employees of the TU Dresden, the Johanniter Akademie Mitteldeutschland, the radio station NEAR FM and Civil Radio Budapest, and the Federaci\u00f3n Andaluc\u00eda Acoge jointly created a training module with a total of six lessons, which in turn are thematically divided into individual learning units. At the end of each lesson, there is a self-test of your own understanding of the topics offered. In addition to imparting knowledge, each learning unit also provides teaching\/learning materials for your own lessons.<\/p>\n The content of the course was not only aimed at promoting a safe handling of technical conditions, but also at using media in a social context and enabling students to use media offerings critically and reflectively. In addition to specially developed content, resources that were already available were bundled and organized for implementation.<\/p>\n
